Corrupted Wings

This is actually just a work in progress, but since the final product will be slightly gory, I decided to submit the 'mild' version

I actually wanted it to be my first realistic drawing, but since I am still not good at colouring, it ended up being semi-realistic
At least, that's my opinion

The text "My wings may be broken, but my weakness is untold" is from a poem, which I have written for this OC
My wings may be broken, but my weakness is untold
Watch as I rise and my wings they unfold.

The 'angel' in the drawing is an original character of mine named Shiroto.
He has a corrupted mind because of a war that he was born into and ruined the family bond. He had a terrible childhood.
The wings aren't symbolising anything, they are his real wings which his father tore to pieces.

If I write everything about him, it will take up too much space.
This character is mainly created just in order to be able to tell the story of when the war was going on, but because of his wings, I wanted to use him for my first attempt on making a realistic drawing.
